Head Coach BC Ramesh praised the team’s raiders and defenders for their comprehensive display, emphasizing the effective leadership of Aslam. Confident in the team’s capabilities, Ramesh declared the Puneri Paltan as the best side in the league, citing the exceptional skills of both raiders and defenders. He expressed optimism about the team’s potential to win all their games when playing cohesively as a unit.
Despite a remarkable overall performance, defender Sanket Sawant faced challenges in scoring points during the game. Ramesh explained that Sanket, a left cover, encountered difficulties when transitioning into the attack after a series of right raiders. However, he commended Sanket’s efforts, recognizing the scarcity of skilled left covers in the league and highlighting the team’s privilege in having one of the best in their roster.
Looking ahead, the Bengal Warriors aim to rebound from their defeat against the Puneri Paltan, but they face a formidable challenge in the UP Yoddhas’ duo of Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill.
The Puneri Paltan is set to continue their home leg against Dabang Delhi KC, although the latter is riding high on confidence following a clinical victory over Telugu Titans in their previous game.
