Mumbai Indians trades Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 player auction took place on Monday, and the Mumbai Indians (MI) sent their all-round player Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). A trade has been made between MI and Royal Challengers Bangalore for all-rounder Cameron Green. At the auction in December of last year, Green—who cost an incredible Rs 17.5 crore—was the winner of 16 games. With two half-centuries and an undefeated century to go along with six wickets taken, the Australian had a fantastic start to the IPL. As per the current player fee, trades have been completed.
This action coincides with the successful completion by the Mumbai Indians of another high-profile all-cash deal to acquire all-rounder Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans.
Green’s quickfire 26-ball 44 in the iconic chase against Rajasthan Royals and his century in the final league game to carry MI into the playoffs will be his monumental performances in the IPL for MI.
