NorthEast United FC defeated Jamshedpur FC 2-0 in their Indian Super League 2024-25 match at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on Thursday. Alaaeddine Ajaraie scored twice, reaching 20 goals this season. As a result, he broke the previous ISL record of 18 goals set by Ferran Corominas (2017-18) and Bartholomew Ogbeche (2021-22), according to ISL officials.

This victory marked NorthEast United FC’s first-ever away win against Jamshedpur FC. Consequently, the team moved to fourth place with 32 points from 21 matches, staying in the playoff race.
