The Indian men’s cricket team is likely to play a warm-up match against either Bangladesh or the UAE ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. According to a report in Dainik Jagran, India will play one warm-up game to gear up for the tournament, with the date still to be confirmed. Since only India and Bangladesh are expected to be in Dubai, the teams are likely to face off. However, if Bangladesh is unavailable, India may play the UAE instead.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled from February 19 to March 9, with eight teams participating. India will begin their campaign on February 20 against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. They will also play Pakistan on February 23 and New Zealand on March 2, both in Dubai.

Prior to traveling to Dubai, India will face England in a three-match ODI series starting February 6 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. The other two matches are scheduled for February 9 and 12 in Cuttack and Ahmedabad, respectively.

India announced their 15-member squad for the ICC Champions Trophy on January 18. Rohit Sharma will lead the team, with Shubman Gill as vice-captain. Jasprit Bumrah’s participation depends on his fitness, and Rishabh Pant has been chosen as the first-choice wicketkeeper. Kuldeep Yadav also made the squad despite a lengthy absence from competitive cricket.
