With a grueling 1-0 win over China, India have not only defended their crown from 2023 but also created history as the most successful team in the history of the tournament. This back-to-back success is reminiscent of their golden stint in 2016-2018, testifying to India’s consistent supremacy in Asian hockey.

Defender Jugraj Singh broke the deadlock with a rare field goal in the 51st minute.

Pakistan earlier won their third-place match against Korea 5-2.
