WCL Final: India Champions Defeat Pakistan Champions by 5 Wickets in a Thriller, Win WCL Inaugural Edition

In a thrilling final of the World Championship of Legends 2024 held in Birmingham, India defeated Pakistan by five wickets. Chasing a target of 157 runs, India reached 159/5 in 19.1 overs. The standout performance came from Ambati Rayudu, who scored a crucial half-century, hitting 50 runs off 30 balls. Pakistan’s Sohail Tanvir was the leading bowler, taking three wickets.

Earlier in the match, Pakistan Champions posted a total of 156/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Shoaib Malik top-scored for Pakistan with 41 runs. India’s bowling was led by Anureet Singh, who took three wickets, while Vinay Kumar, Pawan Negi, and Irfan Pathan each claimed one wicket. This victory marked a memorable win for India in the World Championship of Legends 2024.
