Iceland Cricket takes a dig at Pakistan following their 360-run defeat

Iceland Cricket once again poked fun at the Pakistan cricket team ahead of their Boxing Day clash against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
In their pursuit of securing their first Test victory on Australian soil, Pakistan endured a significant setback with a 360-run defeat in the 1st Test in Perth. The teams are set to face off again on December 26, with Australia aiming to clinch the series and Pakistan striving to keep the three-match Test series alive.
Following Pakistan’s defeat, Iceland Cricket took to social media, X, to mock the Asian Cricketing Giants, highlighting that 45.6% of their X followers were not born when Pakistan last won a Test in Australia in 1995. They humorously noted that this percentage might increase unless Pakistan manages to win the Boxing Day Test.
To acclimate to Australian conditions, the Pakistan team is scheduled to play a two-day practice game against Victoria XI on December 22 and 23 before the Boxing Day Test against Australia. Originally not part of the tour, the additional game was arranged at Pakistan’s request due to concerns about the lack of practice, as reported.
