After India’s exciting win against Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup, the Delhi Police posted a humorous message on social media platform X early Monday, which rapidly gained widespread attention.

In their humorous post, the Delhi Police wrote, “Hey, @NYPDnews. We heard two loud noises. One is “Indiaaa..India!” and another is probably of broken televisions. Can you please confirm?”

Shared on June 10, the post quickly gained popularity, amassing over nine lakh views. It also received more than 43,000 likes, with the numbers still rising. This wasn’t the first time Delhi Police had tweeted about the India-Pakistan match.

Before the match, they extended their good wishes to Team India. “Just to tip you off: An interesting, delightful fight is expected at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium today,” Delhi Police posted on X.

The clever comment was met with an outpouring of laughter and appreciation from netizens, with many users contributing memes in the comments section.

In response to the Delhi Police’s tweet, an individual said, “Legendary, share of intelligence with nypd.”

A second said, “Ohhoo Delhi police got no chill.”

Indian bowlers put on a stellar performance in the Group A match against Pakistan, successfully defending a total of 119 runs at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Pakistan could only reach 113/7 in their allotted 20 overs, resulting in another defeat in front of a packed crowd of 34,000. Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya were key to India’s victory, taking five wickets between them and conceding just 38 runs in their 8 overs, even though India was on the edge at one point during the match.
