Ravichandran Ashwin received a heartwarming gesture from Australian cricketers Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon on Wednesday as they presented him with a signed Australian jersey following his retirement announcement.

Ashwin surprised fans by walking out with India skipper Rohit Sharma to confirm his international retirement. Speculation had already begun when cameras captured a poignant moment between Ashwin and Virat Kohli on the final day of the Test match, where Kohli embraced an emotional Ashwin, signaling a major announcement.

Since the news broke, tributes have poured in for Ashwin’s stellar career. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video capturing Cummins and Lyon handing over the signed jersey in Brisbane’s Gabba hallway. “Well done mate, thank you, you have been great,” said Pat Cummins while presenting the jersey.
