Cristiano Ronaldo Set To Extend Saudi Arabia Stay Becomes Co-Owner Of Al Nassr: Report

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly set to commit to another deal with Al Nassr, reinforcing his commitment to the Saudi Pro League. Joining the club in December 2022 from Manchester United, the 39-year-old has not yet experienced the same silverware success that he did during his previous tenure at other clubs, but he still intends to alter that.

According to Spanish media outlet Marca, Ronaldo will sign a highly lucrative contract which will also uniquely feature him having a five percent ownership stake in Al Nassr. This way, he is going to bind himself to the club for many years to come as a shareholder besides playing for it.

Ronaldo has reportedly stated that he is content in Saudi Arabia and is happy along with his family in the country. He was frank about how challenging it would be to play in the Saudi Pro League, especially against clubs such as Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, but reiterated that he will never give up on Al Nassr.

“It’s hard to compete with teams like Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, but we are still there, still pushing and fighting. Football is like that; you have good moments and bad moments,” Ronaldo said. “The most important thing is to be professional, to push hard, respect the club, respect your contract and believe that things will change.”

Ronaldo started 2025 with a goal in Al Nassr’s 3-1 win against Al-Okhdood as his 11th goal this season. For the club facing the challenges still, Ronaldo insists on leading it with determination toward more titles to be won within the seasons to come.
