BCCI approves to conduct Women’s IPL, Netizens laud the decision of BCCI

It’s a piece of good news for cricket fans and IPL lovers as the General Body approved to conduct the Women’s Indian Premier League (IPL). The Women’s IPL is all set to take place in 2023. The green signal is given right after the 91st Annual General Meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

Netizens lauded the decision on Twitter.

One of the Twitter users expressed his happiness and Tweeted, “Women’s Ipl finally a reality… Being a father to a girl, can’t be happier for the girls who live this game and dream of making it big! Here’s the opportunity… Go and Fly girls! The sky is the limit!

Meanwhile, another user said, “Long overdue, finally approved. This will surely broaden the cricketing culture in India and more importantly women’s cricket!”

“In the 2022 AGM, the BCCI elected Roger Binny as president and approved the conducting of a Women’s IPL,” a third user tweeted.

Moreover, a user wrote, “Women’s IPL is HISTORIC news and certainly long overdue!”
