A fundraiser for sports warriors affected by Covid-19

From the impact of TV broadcast rights to sponsorships, Covid-19 has badly affected the sports arena worldwide. Even in India, thousands of coaches, physios, trainers and lifeguards have been working on contracts or on daily wages, active at different centres of India’s sports complexes. Now due to Covid-19, it has become difficult for them to earn their basic livelihoods.

In such a situation, Sports Guru Foundation has come forward to help such people who are in need for help. “As a leader in the field for more than three decades, it is my moral responsibility to look after them and help. I alone cannot do it and need many more hands to support. Hence, your support is the only hope for their survival,” said Hemanshu Chaturvedi of Sports Guru Foundation.

He also appealed to the masses to come forward and contribute to help such “sports warriors” during the time of Covid-19. “This would help bring back smiles and good health to their children,” Chaturvedi said. There are two options for the contributors: They can either pay a minimum amount of Rs 1,100, or donate Rs 7,500 to look after a family for three months.

For forwarding help, please contact Sports Guru Foundation at 7042958844, 7042958855 and 7042958822 or guru@sportsgurufoundation.org for assistance. Please contribute at https:// sportsgurufoudation.org/ index-donor.php.
