THE DESIRE THAT IS EMBEDDED IN HUMAN BEINGS

Creation began from the primal seed that is ignited by a desire. The One who has desired the Creation has not desired it like we the humans do desire. That who had desired has desired as desire-less desire. Creation is the desire of That-Which-Is. The One who is That-Which-Is is the Creator of the Creation. Which means the Creation is not bigger than its Creator. That-Which-Is has created this Creation on a canvas that ought to be bigger than the Creation. Who could it be then who has created the Creation on the canvas? Obviously, That-Which-Is is the canvas on which Creation has flowered. He is the Creator and who knows that the Creation would get destroyed by the Creator. But no one knows that?

Unlike the desire of human beings which happens in time, the desire of That-Which-Is is beyond time and it has no beginning no end. But Creation when seen by humans is gauged in time because the human mind is made of time. Time lends a beginning and an end. Therefore, to define the desire of That-Which-Is in time, we say that the Creation that is the desire of That-Which-is is expanding. Expansion is time. Scientists say that universe is expanding. Hindus call this Brahma that is expanding. It is said that the universe is expanding and is constantly expanding. And as an anti-thesis of expansion, scientists have abstracted the theory of black holes.

We call the Creation eternal. To define something that is not in time and is beyond time, we lend time to understand that because eternity is only definable in terms of time. That which is not time can only be explained as an opposite of time. That is the limitation of the human mind.

Creation continues to be the Creation. That-Which-Is once felt that Creation should exist. Therefore, Creation exists. Billions of years later, the earth began to exist. Heat existed. When heat subsided it brought ice. Water began to exist. Air began to exist. That brought life on earth. Organic life began. Life in the water began when the water receded. Tree, forests grew. Animals, birds, flowers, and life began to grow diversely. It was the journey of the desire from one-celled being to 90-trillion celled human emerged on earth.

The universe is growing in size, the cells on earth are growing infinitely because the desire emerged on earth. Desire is that mycelium that has sprung its network and is firmly embedded in the existence of That-Which-Is.

Hindus say that man is to grow as big as the universe. That is what it means when we call Brahman the one who understand the Sutra of Brahma that is expanding every moment. Man considers himself to be privileged, unlike animals, birds, and trees. In fact, animals, birds and trees grow as per the programming ingrained in them as code. That programming is the desire. Birds do desire and they make copies. Trees send their seeds far. Some trees lend wings to seeds to take them too far into new grounds. Like an amoeba splits into two daughter amoebas and never dies. Organic creatures make copies. Millions of human babies land into wombs to become copies of human beings after incubation. The desire that is embedded in human beings is to make copies. It incarnates humans, it births humans.

Desire means growth. Body-mind is created in organic life. Mind is desired in humans. Senses are desired in humans. Senses of seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching are desired in humans. When first-time fragrance was released by a flower, it was not because the flower alone desired to release it. But the bee would have desired the sense of smell. If eyes did not exist, the light would not be born. If ears did not exist, the sound would not be born. Eyes are born as a backlash to light. Sound is born as a backlash to ears. When one was ready to hear sound emerged. When one was ready to see light emerged. When one was ready to smell fragrance emerged. Billions of creatures incubated for billions of years produced human beings. And human beings desired to produce better copies of the sapiens. This is the story of the earth.

Senses were incubated for communication between creatures and the environment. Flowers sent an invitation to others. Senses are part of our desire to expand. Our body is expanding. Every day the colony of our 90 trillion cells is expanding.

The sense of language that emerged is emerged due to cognition. What was spoken for the first time was never spoken but was spoken because the sense of listening had emerged? The sense of language that emerged in humans kept expanding.

The mind that emerged in the human is expanding.

The human mind has become a very complex physical and psychological organ. The desire that was a mere ‘desire to be’ that desire to be has metamorphosed into myriad complexities and it has become the desiring. Desiring is the way of the mind. Human beings are constantly in desiring mode. In desiring the human mind is expanding in time because desire needs time. As big the desire as much time is needed. Therefore, humans do desire to live long, to be reborn, to find God, to get salvation.

Desire is just a means to be. When someone was ready to marvel at the beauty of the world, flowers emerged, mountains emerged, valleys emerged, language emerged, poetry emerged, and art emerged. When one was ready to get rejoiced, dance emerged, play emerged, and music emerged.

When one was ready to learn, knowledge emerged.

But knowledge was a game-changer. Plato has said that ‘knowledge is a virtue’. So true.

Flowers emanated fragrances and colours emerged. Green leaves emerged. Leaves are not green. Leaves are green because we have assigned a code-name green to that type of colour that we have called green therefore leaves are green. Green is just a name of a colour that we call green but if we would have assigned leaves code-name red. Our blood would have been green, and on this earth, we would not have gory bloodsheds but green revolutions. To see the colour of the leaf, we need information that is stored in memory. But to cognise green we need cognition. To know colours we need all our senses.

What is behind the senses? Whatever that we have desired is manifested in our senses. The desire of a wild beast is manifested in canines and claws. The desire of a cobra snake is manifested in poison. Senses are expanding because of desire. From small mind to complex mind, from a small body to complex body shapes.

In humans, most of the evolutionary growth is of the mind. When the mind grows, the world around grows. Mind is nothing but an empty desire. When the mind grew, it let the world grow in types of minds. That which are the senses that man has endowed is the science that humans have not comprehended yet. In every age, religions trained us to restrict our language to restrict our thoughts, to restrict our desires, and to restrict our bodies.

Limitations were necessary because That-Which-Is who has desired us has not desired us to be lost into forgetfulness. We are also the desires of That-Which-Is and deep inside we carry the primal seed. That seed is bound to spring into a flower: the flower of Buddhahood, the flower of awakening. The only way is to desire with the desire of That-Which-Is is to cognise the primal desire that is implanted deep inside as a seed. To be one with the desire of the primal desire is to begin your journey into the world of flowering. The only desire that we carry is the desire of the flowering that desire is not the desire of the mind but it is a timeless desire destined to make everyone into a Buddha(the awakened one).
