Budget carrier SpiceJet appointed Ashish Kumar as the Chief Financial Officer on Friday, 9 September 2022.
Meanwhile, Ashish Kumar has served as VP (Head) – Corporate Finance beginning January 2019 at Interglobe Enterprises. Kumar has 26 years of experience and from 2014 to 2018 Ashish was Chief Financial Officer at Inter-globe Hotels for five years.
Notably, for Tata Value Homes and Suzlon Infrastructure from 2011 to 2014 and 2009 to 2010 respectively Kumar was Head of Finance. Moreover, Kumar also worked with Reliance Infrastructure and Hindustan Petroleum.

However, Kumar had done his B.Com (Hons) from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, and M.Com from the University of Kolkata. Furthermore, Kumar is a certified Chartered Accountant (ACA), Cost Accountant (FCMA), and Company Secretary (ACS).
