In a significant development, SpiceJet has announced the commencement of direct flights from Jaipur to Ayodhya, just in time for the Pran Pratishthan program of Shri Ram Lalla scheduled in Ayodhya. Starting from February 1, the airline’s direct flights will operate four days a week, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, providing swift and convenient travel for the people of Jaipur.
The SpiceJet flight, numbered SG-3421, will depart from Jaipur at 7:30 am, reaching Ayodhya at 9:15 am. The return flight, SG-3426, will take off from Ayodhya at 3:45 pm, landing back in Jaipur at 5:30 pm. The quick travel time of just 1 hour and 45 minutes ensures a seamless journey for passengers.
This marks the first-ever direct flight from Jaipur to Ayodhya, enhancing connectivity for the residents. Notably, SpiceJet currently operates daily direct flights to Varanasi and Indigo Airlines to Lucknow from Jaipur. With the introduction of flights to Ayodhya, SpiceJet will discontinue its Jaipur-Surat route. Both SpiceJet and Indigo Airlines are gearing up to offer more flight options to Ayodhya from Jaipur in the near future.
In addition to the new flight service, the public can also opt for train travel from Jaipur to Ayodhya. While there are limited trains on this route, it offers an alternative for those seeking to reach Ayodhya by rail. However, the train journey duration varies, ranging from 13 to 18 hours, with most trains operating on a weekly schedule.
