After the sternness of the Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, the Water Department has come into action mode for improvement in the city’s water supply. The department has started preparations for supplying fresh water to the city from the Foy Sagar lake.
On Thursday, Devnani himself visited the filter plant located on Foy Sagar Road and inspected all the arrangements. He has given clear instructions to the officials that regular water supply and complete drinking water management are top priorities, and any kind of negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani held an important meeting on improving the drinking water supply in Ajmer city and the northern region of Ajmer on Thursday.
In the meeting held in the circuit house, arrangements for immediate improvement in drinking water supply and long-term management were discussed with officials. Before this, he also inspected the arrangements at the Foy Sagar Road filter plant.
Officials were instructed to prepare plan for drinking water supply Devnani directed the officials to prepare a plan for drinking water supply in such a way that each area can get sufficient water. Officials told him that 3 MLD water will be taken from Foy Sagar, which will be distributed uniformly, and the plan has been prepared.
Amrit Yojana – Phase II proposals will be prepared again
Devnani told the officials that while there is an immediate improvement in the water supply, a plan should also be prepared for the future.
For this, under Amrit Yojana – Phase II, proposals prepared in the first phase will be prepared again in the east and redesigned according to the city’s needs. These proposals will be the foundation of advanced water management in Ajmer in the future.
