The remarkable assertion made by a scientist and author is that an ancient human city previously existed on the Moon, but this truth has been kept hidden from the public for many years. Geologist Gregg Braden alleges that the United States and Russia discovered proof of this lost civilization but chose to keep it a secret. However, he predicts that upcoming lunar missions by India and China are poised to uncover the truth for the entire world to see.
According to Braden, who spoke about this on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the Moon contains the remnants of a long-lost human civilization that thrived some 50,000 years ago. He states that these lunar inhabitants originated from an advanced society on Earth. According to Braden, this ancient society created technology that made it possible for them to visit the Moon, but they were finally wiped out in a devastating conflict. "The evidence suggests they're from us, from a time in our past... until we destroyed one another through war, and that we're repeating that cycle," Braden told Rogan.

Braden points to two specific upcoming space missions as the key to unlocking this lunar mystery.
The shocking discovery, he says, will be made by China's Chang'e 7 mission in 2026 and India's Chandrayaan-4 mission in 2027. In order to investigate the lunar surface, these missions use robotic rovers and landers. Braden claims these robots will come across archaeological structures and inscriptions in languages connected to ancient human cultures. He believes the findings will be broadcast live, making concealment impossible.
Braden uses unconfirmed reports and contentious interpretations of space data to back up his theory. He specifically points to NASA's 1990s Clementine mission, claiming its photographs showed structures on the Moon with precise 90-degree angles. Furthermore, he brings up a long-standing conspiracy theory related to the Apollo 11 mission. Braden alleges that astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin saw a large metallic structure on the Moon's far side, but that NASA cut the broadcast to prevent the public from hearing their descriptions.
