Sowmya CM, originally from Bangalore, was crowned Miss Globe India 2024 by Dr. Aishwarya Paatapati, the Miss Globe India 2023, with Pooja Penumala finishing as the first runner-up. Sowmya will represent India in The Miss Globe international competition in Albania on October 15, 2024. Born in Shimoga, Karnataka, she gained recognition after winning the Miss Karnataka 2022 title and is set to make her acting debut in the Telugu film Indrajaalam. Fluent in Kannada, English, and Telugu, Sowmya’s versatility and charm have made her a rising star.
The Miss Globe India 2024 competition was part of the Miss Celeste India National Level Beauty Pageant, organized by Yogesh Mishra and Nimisha Mishra of Fusion Group. As national directors, the duo has consistently elevated the platform for young talents like Sowmya. With a focus on grooming and etiquette, Mishra’s leadership has enabled Indian contestants to excel on global stages.
