Former President Candidate Nikey Haley Declares Her Support For Donald Trump

Former US presidential Candidate Nikey Haley recently announced on Wednesday, that she’ll vote for Trump in this November’s election, despite previously calling him “unhinged” and “not qualified” as the leader.

However, what’s notable is, both trump and Haley have both criticized each other severely, till this south Carolina’s governor withdrew from presidential race.

While suspending the campaign in March, Haley recently declared, that it now depends on Donald Trump to get votes for their party and to reach those, who doesn’t support him.

In addition, she also added, “At its best, politics is about bringing people into your cause, not turning them away. And our conservative cause badly needs more people.”

Meanwhile, this sudden support has triggered a speculation about Haley contending for vice-president post, whose fight has reportedly erupted before elections.

Later, however, Trump debunked these rumours, in his May 11th Truth social post, saying she isn’t under consideration for the post.

But the former US president has reacted positively to Haley’s support this upcoming election.

As on Thursday, he spoke glowingly about Haley’s indispensable presence at New York’s Bronx rally, saying “I think she’s going to be on our team because we have a lot of the same ideas, the same thoughts.”

Later, he told News12 New York, that he “appreciated” Haley’s support saying,

“But she’s a very capable person, and I’m sure she’s going to be on our team in some form, absolutely.”

Interestingly, he didn’t specify Haley’s position in the team, instead, he just gave the names of potential republican candidates who could be America’s future Vice-president, if trump comes to power.

But many political experts are of the opinion, since trump is embroiled in an ongoing hush money trial, it is difficult to predict, what his final decision be.

So far, he had foregrounded “sometime during the convention” as the time window.
