Sudan: UAE’s Foreign ministers, Saudi Arabia, US review situation

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, discussed the current situation in the Republic of Sudan during a phone call with Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State.

The three top diplomats emphasised the importance of halting the escalation and returning to the framework agreement to ensure Sudan’s and its people’s security and stability. During the joint phone call, Sheikh Abdullah emphasised the importance of ensuring cooperation in order to contain ongoing developments, end escalation, protect civilians, and push towards peace tracks that ensure Sudan’s security and stability.
