Shooting at Georgia house party kills two, six injured

On Saturday, 4 March, at a house party in Georgia, a shooting was occurred in the early morning hours. Shooting occurred in Douglas County, Georgia. At the time of the shooting, there were 100 teenagers present at a house party in Georgia, US, on Saturday. The shooting occurred between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Douglasville home, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office told the media.

The shooting occurred as a result of a “confrontation” between the teenagers. US Police said in a statement, “We are also looking for potential witnesses to describe the shooting and who is responsible”. They also added that it is unclear whether adults were present during the shooting, and no arrests have been made so far.

“We know that there was a house party where well over a hundred teenagers were attending. A confrontation occurred that resulted in two deaths and six injuries from gunshots. Information is very limited at this time,” the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said on Sunday.

The police personnel also said that it is still unclear whether adults were present at the time of the shooting or not.
