No personal vendetta, says ex-wife Reham Khan after Imran’s arrest

Without naming Imran Khan, his ex-wife Reham Khan stated that she has no personal vendetta against anyone and that her only concern has been Pakistanis’ safety.

Her remark comes just hours after former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan’s arrest in connection with a high-profile corruption case. A statement of Reham Khan reads, “Individuals have been used by external forces to cripple the economy & create anarchy throughout our chequered history. We need to change our course.

“It is not a moment to rejoice but a moment to reflect. Those who celebrated in 2018 are mourning today.”

Meanwhile, Imran Khan spent the night in custody after his bail plea was rejected. The court stated his arrest was “legal.” He was supposed to appear before the accountability court on Wednesday.

In a statement, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) said that “will do its best to keep Imran Khan under custody for at least four to five days.”
