Vantara rehab centre for Madhuri: Anant Ambani’s expansive animal welfare initiative, Vantara, has put forward a proposal to build a dedicated satellite rehabilitation centre for Madhuri, a 34-year-old elephant residing in Kolhapur’s Nandani area. Vantara expressed its willingness to support any application by Jain Matha and the Government of Maharashtra seeking the return of beloved Madhuri, the said in a recent statement. They also said that they will provide veterinary and technical help for the elephant's return, subject to the Supreme Court's approval.
