Six people, including a woman and her 12-year-old son, were killed in a collision near Keregalapalya under the Madhugiri police station in Karnataka. The accident occurred on Sunday and resulted in two additional people being critically injured and admitted to a local hospital.
Tumakuru Superintendent of Police Ashoke KV reported that the fatalities were caused by a head-on collision between two cars. The Tumakuru SP shared on social media platform X, “A head-on collision occurred between two cars near Keregalapalya under the Madhugiri police station. Our Additional Superintendent of Police and Madhugiri Police promptly responded and inspected the scene.”
In a separate incident in Karnataka on Thursday, two school students were killed, and three others were severely injured when their bus, traveling from Ku village to a school in Manvi, collided head-on with a government bus in Raichur district.
