The festival of lights, Diwali, is here and so is the rush of transport services. In such a situation, during Diwali, Sindhi Camp earns an average income of Rs 22 lakh from passengers. Due to the increase in passenger load since Wednesday, the income has increased by about Rs 8 lakh in a single day.

5000 passengers registered in 1000 buses in Jaipur
Hitesh Jangid, traffic manager of Sindhi Camp bus stand, said that these days 1,000 buses are being run every day at Sindhi Camp. There are a total of 50,000 seats in these buses. He said that 90 per cent of these passengers are from Bharatpur and Uttar Pradesh. While talking about bus booking, he said, “Due to heavy crowds during festival days, routes are being changed. Besides, new buses are also being operated for Kota, Udaipur, Indore, and Jodhpur including the Delhi route, and Bharatpur-Gangapur route. Apart from booking some bus tickets online, they are also being booked at the counter.”

Passenger load has increased in Volvo buses
People have already made advance bookings on Volvo buses for the next three days. But during the festival of Diwali, the passenger load in roadway buses has increased. There is a lot of crowd on the buses at Sindhi Camp. In the coming three days, there will be competition for seats in normal and Volvo buses on roadways.

More than 1 lakh people reaching Jaipur Junction
There is a lot of congestion at Jaipur Junction due to the Diwali festival. The situation is such that there is no space to step even in the reserved coaches of trains. The biggest problem being faced by passengers travelling on long-distance trains in general coaches is the biggest challenge. According to railway officials, there is movement of more than one lakh people at Jaipur Junction in 24 hours.

Strict Arrangements have been made
The crowd will increase further in the next two to three days. Here, strict arrangements have also been made from a security point of view. RPF, GRP teams are on alert. Apart from these, special teams have also been formed to nab people travelling without tickets. A similar situation is being seen at other stations including Gandhinagar, and Durgapura.
