Shyam Lal Bansal, a member of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Panchkula, emphasised the inclusive development concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Jan Samvad programme at Devi Lal Park in Rathpur, Pinjore.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s focus on education, health, law and order, women empowerment, and youth upliftment, aligning with the principles of Antyodaya, was highlighted by Bansal.
Former MLA of Kalka, Latika Sharma, and Municipal Council Chairman Krishna Lal Lamba were also present at the event. Bansal, addressing the gathering as the chief guest, praised the government’s efforts in launching unique schemes and making historic decisions to achieve comprehensive development.
Bansal highlighted Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to Antyodaya, ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach every citizen. He mentioned the Parivar Pehchan Patra initiative, enabling online access to government services and schemes, ensuring that people receive their entitlements conveniently.
Discussing health initiatives, Bansal mentioned the Ayushman Bharat-Chirayu scheme, providing free annual treatment up to Rs 5 lakh for eligible beneficiaries. He also mentioned the ‘Nirogi Haryana Yojana,’ aiming to conduct complete health checkups for the entire state population every two years.
Home delivery of pensions linked to family identity cards was highlighted, with an increase in the social security pension from Rs 1000 to Rs 2750 monthly, set to further increase to Rs 3000 monthly from January 2024.
