The war between actress Kangana Ranaut and Maharashtra’s ruling party Shiv Sena intensified on Thursday. Launching a brutal attack against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Kangana said that Thackeray sold the ideology of his father and party’s founder Bal Thackeray for power. She also
accused him of turning Shiv Sena into ‘Sonia Sena’ and sending goons to demolish her home.

Meanwhile, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) which demolished a part of Kangana’s bungalow at Pali Hill in Bandra has exempted the actress from the 14-day home quarantine rule. A senior BMC official said that she had made an online application for exemption from home quarantine as she was in Mumbai for a short visit. The official further added that as she was staying in the city for less than a week, she was exempted from the rule under the ‘short-term visitor category’.

Meanwhile, Kangana’s lawyer was able to extend the stay on demolition of the Pali Hill property till 22 September.
