After a successful 2023 at the box office, anticipation is high for Shah Rukh Khan’s next film, with fans speculating that he is now focusing on Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial project, King. Recently, an image believed to be from the film set surfaced online, leading admirers to believe that Khan is currently shooting for the movie in Spain.
On Saturday, a user on X (formerly Twitter) shared a picture of Shah Rukh, claiming it was from the sets of King. The post suggested that the actor has started shooting in Spain, stating, “First leak pic from the sets of #KING. SRK is currently shooting in Spain for the film,” accompanied by a fire emoji. The image shows Shah Rukh in a smart blue suit, deeply engaged in conversation with a group of men, set against a picturesque backdrop featuring beautiful blue water and mountains.
The authenticity of the picture could not be confirmed at the time of publishing, and there has been no official announcement from the filmmakers.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh was seen leaving Mumbai with his daughter Suhana Khan on May 30. He, along with his family and manager Pooja Dadlani, was spotted at Mumbai’s Kalina airport early in the morning. Aryan and Suhana arrived at the airport together, accompanied by Gauri Khan, Pooja, and their team. It was speculated that Shah Rukh was joining Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding European cruise party.
In recent updates, Shah Rukh had mentioned that he would begin shooting for his next film around July-August. A new video last week showed hints that he is preparing for his next project, reportedly titled King. Observant fans noticed the script of *King* on a table next to his chair.
According to reports, King will see Shah Rukh Khan returning as an infamous don. The film will also mark the theatrical debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan, who previously made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies. This film will be the first time Suhana works alongside her father. King is co-produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures, the director of Pathaan.
