The Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla-starrer ‘Yes Boss,’ released in 1997, remains one of the most cherished films in Bollywood. The movie’s memorable soundtrack, featuring hits like ‘Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon,’ ‘Chaand Taare,’ and ‘Suniye To,’ continues to be beloved, especially by those who grew up in the 90s.
As the film marked its 27th anniversary on Thursday, Juhi Chawla took to Instagram to share several clips from the movie, captioning one of her posts with “#27YearsofYesBoss.”
Directed by Aziz Mirza, ‘Yes Boss’ also starred Aditya Pancholi, Gulshan Grover, the late Reema Lagoo, and Johnny Lever. The film tells the story of Rahul (SRK), tasked with wooing a girl, Seema (Juhi), for his boss (Aditya Pancholi), only to find himself falling in love with her.
SRK and Juhi have not only been frequent co-stars in films like ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman,’ ‘Duplicate,’ ‘Darr,’ ‘Bhoothnath,’ ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani,’ and ‘One 2 Ka 4,’ but they are also close friends. Additionally, they co-own the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Under the guidance of Gautam Gambhir, KKR clinched the IPL 2024 cup. With formidable openers Phil Salt and Sunil Narine, KKR boasted one of the most feared and powerful batting line-ups of the season. The spin bowling prowess of Varun Chakravarthy and Narine, combined with the youthful energy of Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora, also significantly contributed to the team’s victorious campaign.
