Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is not merely an expression of patriotism but a collective resolution to transform India into a developed nation by 2047. Speaking at the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Shah urged citizens to ensure that every home, building, office, and vehicle proudly displays the tricolor.

“The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, started by PM Modi, represents a commitment to building a Viksit Bharat by 2047. As we approach the 78th year of Independence on August 15, it is crucial that the tricolor is displayed everywhere,” Shah remarked during his address.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, also present at the event, underscored the importance of instilling a sense of patriotism in every citizen through the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rallies. “These rallies aim to foster a deep sense of patriotism in every individual, propelling the nation further on the path of development,” Patel stated.

Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi highlighted the widespread participation in the campaign, noting that citizens from all corners of the country, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, are involved in the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. “On Prime Minister Modi’s call, people across the nation are engaging with the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Today, Ahmedabad has made history with the enthusiastic participation of lakhs of people in the Tiranga Yatra,” Sanghvi added.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally in Ahmedabad was flagged off by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel as part of the ongoing Independence Day celebrations. The third edition of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being celebrated from August 9th to 15th, encouraging citizens to display the National Flag at their homes and participate in activities celebrating India’s heritage, as stated by the Ministry of Culture.
