NAVI MUMBAI: In a major crackdown on drug peddlers, authorities arrested seven Nigerian nationals and seized drugs valued at Rs 19.05 crore, as revealed by a senior police official. The operation involved a series of well-coordinated raids in residential areas of Kharghar, orchestrated by Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Milind Bharambe. Acting on crucial intelligence that pointed to a Nigerian group’s involvement in the illicit drug trade, law enforcement executed a meticulously planned operation. The contraband, including cocaine, MDMA, and tramadol hydrochloride tablets, a psychotropic substance, amounted to a staggering Rs 19.05 crore.
