In a significant breakthrough, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with the Army, CRPF, and Sopore Police, apprehended four terror associates, including a woman, in a targeted operation in Bandipora district of north Kashmir. The joint forces successfully confiscated a substantial quantity of arms and ammunition during the operation.
Sharing the details of the operation on social media platform X, Bandipora Police announced, “Bandipora Police along with Army, CRPF & Sopore Police arrested four persons, including one woman. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition was recovered.”
The individuals arrested have been identified as Adil Tariq Wasil (son of Tariq Ahmad), Shafkat Nabi (son of Gh Nabi), Musaib Khursheed (son of Khursheed Ahmad Dar), all residents of Ladoora Rafiabad in Baramulla. The identity of the woman has been withheld for security reasons. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law at the Bandipora Police Station, and the investigation is actively underway.
The operation underscores the continued efforts of the security forces to dismantle terror networks and prevent potential threats in the region. Authorities remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of the local populace.
