Residents of Sector-25 in Ward No.16, part of the two-decade-old Rehabilitation Colony, recently conveyed their concerns and demands in a meeting with former MP Pawan Kumar Bansal. The residents, grappling with issues such as penalty notices, non-allocation grievances, and default installment notifications, expressed their distress during the interaction.

From penalty notices ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh for each homeowner to challenges like poor road conditions, sewerage blockages, and the absence of essential amenities like a community center and a park, the residents laid out their pressing concerns. Pawan Kumar Bansal, in response, assured the residents of his understanding of the ownership rights issue and pledged to work towards securing ownership rights for the houses once their government is elected.
