Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has provided assistance to more than 250,000 individuals through its Ramadan Iftar project. Operating in 43 countries worldwide throughout the Holy Month, this initiative plays a crucial role in SCI’s annual Ramadan aid efforts to aid those facing hardship.

Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Ali, Director of Project Management and External Aid at SCI, emphasized the significance of the Ramadan Iftar project, praising its contribution to supporting individuals in need.

The beneficiaries come from various countries, including Egypt (20,000), Bahrain (10,000), Ethiopia (6,000), India (15,000), Malawi (7,000), Jordan (4,000), Bosnia (5,000), Pakistan (4,000), Afghanistan (4,000), Morocco (4,000), and Brazil (2,000), among others.

Al Ali highlighted the enthusiastic participation of fasting individuals across these nations during Ramadan. The project aims to assist both citizens and residents, with a particular emphasis on refugees in camps. Al Ali noted that the meals provided are carefully curated to ensure they contain essential nutrients and are tailored to suit the dietary preferences of each region.
