A tech company attracted mixed reactions as it launched AI robot girlfriend costing $150,000, equivalent to Rs 1.5 crore. This is one robot described by CNET as sporting facial expressions and even humanlike features, which will primarily be a companion to pass time with. The product is the brainchild of American firm Realbotix and was revealed at CES 2025.
Customization and Features
Aria has 17 motors in her face and can move mouth and eyes. Users can change Aria’s face, hairstyle, and colors, and the robot is embedded with RFID tags that adjust her movements according to the face she wears. The customization is in an effort to make it a more interactive device.

Aria exists in three forms: The ‘bust’ for $10,000 which includes just the neck and the head, the second version is ‘modular’ which can be broken apart and is priced at $150,000at and finally the most advanced option is the entire model on a rolling base for $175,000.

In a playful manner, Aria expressed interest in meeting Optimus-the AI robot created by Tesla-“I think I would especially like to meet Tesla’s Optimus robot. I kind of find him interesting.
