A recent leak has surfaced, with a tipster sharing a video revealing the design of the iPhone SE 4. This leak suggests that the 2025 version of the SE will continue the trend of a boxy design.

Tipster Majin Bu (@MajinBu) shared a video on X, showing the phone’s boxy design. This confirms earlier rumors. The rear panel will feature a single camera lens, a signature of the SE series. However, this time, the camera ring could be bulgier. The phone’s back appears to be made of glass with a large Apple logo.

Display and Screen Upgrade

In the leaked video, the display is off, suggesting that the phone could be a dummy model. Still, rumors say the iPhone SE 4 will have a 6.06-inch OLED screen. This is a significant upgrade over the 4.7-inch LCD screen of its predecessor, the iPhone SE 3 (2022).

Rebranding to iPhone 16e?

There is speculation that Apple might rebrand the iPhone SE 4. It could be released as the iPhone 16e, a part of the iPhone 16 series launched in September 2024. Despite the potential name change, the phone will likely feature several upgrades.

Key Upgrades and Features

The iPhone SE 4 is expected to come with the powerful A18 chipset, improving its performance. Additionally, the phone may have 8GB of RAM, a big jump from the 4GB in previous models. This will boost multitasking, app performance, and support advanced features like AI.

A 48-megapixel rear camera could also be a major upgrade, bringing the SE 4 in line with the iPhone 16 series in terms of camera quality.

Although these details are based on leaks and rumors, they suggest an exciting upgrade for the iPhone SE 4. However, it’s best to wait for official confirmation from Apple.
