Former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi’s son Santosh Suman has resigned from Nitish cabinet. He told in his statement that he is not yet out of the grand alliance, has only resigned from the post of minister. He further added that pressure was being created from JDU to merge the party, that’s why he resigned on the basis of his morality.
Former Minister Santosh Kumar Suman described Nitish Kumar as a skilled personality and skilled Chief Minister. But he has resigned from his post to save the existence of his party and himself.
He rejected the fact of making Jitan Ram Manjhi governor and he shall be sent to Gaya. On the pressure to merge the party, former minister Santosh Kumar Suman said, “Tigers and goats both live in the jungle, as long as we were celebrating well, we were surviving.” Santosh Kumar Suman said that even after stepping down from the ministerial post, he wants to remain in the grand alliance, if both the big parties of the grand alliance do not want to keep him, then it does not matter.
Santosh Kumar Suman said that there is no scope for reconciliation. On the matter of besieging the government while staying in the government, former minister Santosh Suman said that meeting the Governor while staying in the government is a crime and asked, “Is it wrong to meet the Home Minister? We had met on the issue of public interest.”
Santosh Kumar Suman further said that his existence was in danger that’s why he resigned. Former Minister Santosh Kumar Suman said after resigning that now the people of grand alliance will decide whether to keep us together or separate them, they will now go among the public.
