Samashti Gubbi, known as Sanskrit Sparrow, amazed the internet with her rendition of Ranveer Singh’s ‘Apna Time Aayega’ from the movie ‘Gully Boy’ in Sanskrit. In a podcast with Adarsh Sakare, the video of Gubbi performing the rap has captured widespread admiration.
The viral video begins with Gubbi announcing that she has crafted a Sanskrit rap. As the video unfolds, she proceeds to deliver ‘Apna Time Aayega’, originally popularized by Ranveer Singh and Divine, in one of the world’s oldest languages, leaving the podcast host impressed. The song became a massive hit in 2019.
