Following the recent death of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was killed on October 12 outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra, Mumbai, Salman Khan’s security has become a focal point of concern. The actor, a close family friend of the Siddiques, has reportedly struggled with sleep since the tragedy, according to Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan. Salman Khan has been under heightened security following claims by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who allegedly took responsibility for Siddique’s murder.
In a recent interview with BBC Hindi, Zeeshan shared how supportive Salman has been during this difficult time, expressing how the actor checks in on him regularly. “Bhai [Salman] has been very upset since my father’s death. They were as close as real brothers,” Zeeshan said, adding that Salman “can’t sleep properly at night” and often calls to talk about his grief. Zeeshan emphasized that his father’s friends, like Salman, are more like family members, saying, “I’ve never seen them as celebrities; they are like family.”
Baba Siddique was known for hosting grand iftar parties frequented by Bollywood celebrities, including Salman. Two suspects in his murder have been apprehended, though investigations remain ongoing. The impact of his death on Salman highlights the actor’s close relationship with the Siddique family.
Salman Khan is expected to make a cameo appearance as “Chulbul Pandey” in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, despite rumors that he might cancel the shoot due to security concerns. Recently, actor Akshay Kumar hinted at Salman’s cameo, fueling excitement among fans. Salman is also reportedly filming for Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
