Bollywood star Salman Khan has received a fresh death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding he either apologize at a temple for his alleged involvement in the black buck case or pay Rs 5 crore. The Mumbai Police’s Traffic Control unit reported receiving a message on Monday from someone claiming to be Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, warning that Khan’s life would be in danger if he did not comply.

The message stated, “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our temple and apologize or pay Rs 5 crore. If he fails to do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active.”

Authorities are currently investigating the threat and are working to identify the sender. In response to the rising threats, Khan’s security has been increased, particularly following the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique.

This latest threat follows another incident on October 30, when Khan received a demand for a Rs 2 crore ransom from an unidentified individual. Additionally, on October 28, police arrested a 20-year-old man named Mohammad Tayyab, also known as Gurfan Khan, in Noida for making threatening calls related to Khan and NCP MLA Zeeshan Siddique, the son of the murdered politician.

Earlier this year, two intruders attempted to trespass into Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel using fake identification, and he also received a threatening email from gangster Goldy Brar in 2023. In 2022, a threatening letter was found near his residence.

Baba Siddique was killed on October 12 outside Zeeshan Siddique’s office during a Dussehra celebration. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the murder, citing Siddique’s close ties to Salman Khan as the motive. To date, police have arrested 15 individuals in connection with the murder of Baba Siddique.
