The Navi Mumbai Police reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had been planning an assassination attempt on actor Salman Khan. They intended to carry out the attack using a Zigana pistol imported from Turkey, the same firearm that was previously used in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
The attack happened while Salman was traveling in his car in Panvel. The Navi Mumbai Police were informed, and they started investigating the matter. They identified that the people belonged to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Later, they effectively captured four individuals linked with the infamous Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The apprehended individuals have been recognized by law enforcement as Dhananjay, also known as Ajay Kashyap, Gaurav Bhatia, also known as Nahvi, Waspi Khan, also known as Wasim Chikna, and Rizwan Khan, also known as Javed Khan, as stated by police authorities.
The investigation is still going on by the police and protection for Salman Khan’s safety has been increased simultaneously.
