I began my culinary exploration with the Harissa Spiced Chicken Lahmacun. Served with Turkish flatbread, the dish created a marriage of bold flavors and delicate crispiness. Continuing my journey, I savored the Khyber Kebab, which indeed transported me to the vibrant streets of Persia with succulent pieces of marinated meat grilled to perfection. For a taste of Iran, I indulged in Chelo Kebab, a concoction featuring tender skewers of seasoned ground meat atop fluffy saffron-infused rice.
No Mediterranean feast is complete without some hummus so I devoured the special Mambo›s Hummus, a creamy and flavorful delight that was a perfect accompaniment to my meal.
For the vegetarian main course, I opted for Mezze Mambo’s Mushroom Wild Rice & Risotto, a hearty dish that combined earthy mushrooms and aromatic herbs with creamy risotto for a comforting and satisfying experience. For a taste of Turkey, I also tried their Jewelled Cheese Manti, which was a dish featuring delicate dumplings filled with gooey cheese served in a creamy buttery sauce.
Transporting my taste buds to Morocco was the Moroccan Lamb Tagine, featuring tender lamb slow-cooked with fragrant spices and hearty vegetables for a rich and complex dish that pleases me immensely.
The chef served the dish with mix pulao which was finger licking good.
To conclude my culinary journey, I ordered the Palestinian Pound Cake, a moist and dense dessert infused with the flavors of orange blossom and rose water, transporting me to the sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean with every bite.
