Shiromani Akali Dal today said that Bhagwant Mann led AAP government has lied on reasons for not allowing meeting of Bikram Singh Majithia led SAD delegation with Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana lodged in Patiala Central Jail even as party demanded that AAP should tell Punjabis why it has wasted hundreds of crores of rupees of Punjab exchequer for promotion of AAP in election bound states.
Addressing a press conference here today, SAD Chief Spokesman Advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler said that due process was followed by Akali Dal for getting a meeting of its delegation with Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana in Patiala Central Jail. He said that Akali Dal received permission for the visit in the same manner as the SGPC from ADGP Jails.
He said the motive of the SAD delegation to meet Bhai Rajoana was also same as it was bound by directions of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He said that it is strange that SGPC delegation was allowed to meet Bhai Rajoana but delegation of Akali Dal led by Sardar Bikram Singh Majithia, who is repeatedly exposing lies and scandals of Bhagwant Mann government, was deniedto meet him. He said that country is witnessing that under AAP government in Punjab and Delhi and under NDA government at Centre, Sikh community was facing huge discrimination. He said that killers of Rajiv Gandhi have been released, rapists of Bilkis Bano have been released but no decision has been taken yet on Bhaji Rajoana and other Bandi Sikhs as per announcement of the central government on the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji.
He said that during the last two years of AAP government in Punjab crimes had witnessed a significant surge in the state including rape cases. He said that Punjab government everyday presents new story about opponents with all false and fake claims.
He said that Punjab government is running from CBI enquiry against two Punjab IAS officers as it fears that both will disclose to CBI how money was minted by AAP government led by Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal in excise scam as well as illegal mining and other scams.
SAD Spokesman further challenged Bhagwant Mann government to reply to Punjabis on five issues raised by him including claim of CM that Gangster Goldy Brar had been arrested in US, BMW had committed to establish a plant of the company in Punjab, CM’s claim about involvement of former CM CS Channi in Rs. 2 crore bribe in recruitment case, recovering amount spent on Gangster Ansari from the then Jail Minister and claims about operation Lotus in Punjab by AAP.
He said that Punjabis want answers from CM on lies he spread otherwise they are ready to teach AAP a lesson in Parliamentary polls as people of five states have done to the party.
