In the aftermath of the state assembly elections, political parties are now gearing up for the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. In this context, former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot made a significant statement in Udaipur. Pilot stated that, in his personal opinion, new people should be given an opportunity in the Lok Sabha elections.
He urged the youth to actively participate in the elections, emphasising that they should be given a chance in the upcoming polls. Pilot mentioned that, in his view, it is essential to provide opportunities to new individuals. He said, “Until we give opportunities to new people, the infusion of fresh energy will not happen.”
This perspective, according to Pilot, is not limited to a particular person, organization, state, or district. He pointed out that every time they have given opportunities to the youth, people have shown trust in them.
Sachin Pilot highlighted that during the Congress government in the state, they addressed issues in the interest of the public. Even in disagreement, they maintained the decorum of language. Pilot stressed the importance of maintaining the dignity of language.
Referring to the appointment of Tika Ram Jully as the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Pilot commented that it is a positive sign that the party is providing an opportunity to new people. He described Jully as the country’s first “Agniveer” (firebrand).
Expressing happiness about Julie becoming the leader of the opposition, Pilot stated that it is the first time that both the national president and the state leader of the opposition in the party are from the Dalit community.
Taking aim at the central government regarding inflation, Pilot said that the BJP is trying to shift the public’s attention by falsely blaming the Congress. He asserted that an attempt is being made to erase the glorious history of the Congress.
Pilot remarked that there is no great leader in the history of the BJP, and in this context, they are forced to make leaders like Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Subhas Chandra Bose their leaders.
