The singer-songwriter Rihanna has expressed sorrow for several aspects of her previous design decisions after giving them some thought. The multihyphenate talked about her best and worst fashion choices.
According to “People” magazine, the mother of two admitted that flaunting too much skin is one of her current “fashion icks”.
She stated ‘British Vogue, “It’s gonna sound hypocritical because I did so much s*** in my life. I had my n****** out, I had my p****** out,” she said.
“But now those are the things that as a mom, an evolved young lady — emphasis on young — things that I just feel like I would never do, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I really did that? Nips out?’
Some of the Grammy winner’s most memorable appearances, as reported by ‘People,’ were skin-baring moments, such as the renowned custom Adam Selman creation, which consisted of an unforgettable fishnet dress, gloves, and headgear that were individually decorated with over 216,000 Swarovski crystals.
She also made headlines for her 2014 Met Gala afterparty gown, a Stella McCartney design that showed a lot of abs with a daringly low back.
Speaking with the publication, Rihanna stated that the backless dress is still one of her favorites, noting that two of her best-dressed moments came from the 2014 Met Gala.
The “Umbrella” singer went on to say how much she loved her Stella McCartney-inspired white crop top and skirt combo from the Gala.
