In a significant development in the Renukaswamy murder case, actor Darshan’s shoes were found in his wife Vijayalakshmi’s flat. Thus, adding a fresh twist to the case.
On June 8, Darshan was wearing loafers, when he along with his aides murdered the fan.
Even though, these shoes could be considered evidence, but as per senior police officer, the remains of renukaswamy were disposed in the early hours of June 9, at that time, Darshan was in Vijayalakshmi’s house in Hoskerehalli.
Before his arrest on June 11., He did puja with his wife, before going to Mysuru.
Earlier on Wednesday, actor’s wife Vijayalakshmi was summoned by police. Accordingly, she gave her statement at Annapoorneshwari Nagar police station.
As per police sources, she was questioned for five hours. During the questioning, police enquired, whether Vijayalakshmi knows anything about kidnap and murder of Renukaswamy.
And if Darshan, revealed any details about the murder. Later, she was questioned about darshan’s visit to her house and what happened during that time.
Moreover, she was asked about the loafers; who brought it and why? and if the shoes had been washed or worn by someone else after they arrived at her residence.
She gave all the answers to the question and police also recorded her statement.
In addition, actor’s costume assistant Raju had allegedly given clothes, shoes and belongings of darshan to the wife.
As per source, Vijayalakshmi is likely to be considered a witness unless charged with withholding evidence.
A 33-year-old assistant of medical shop S Renuka Swamy, who was allegedly killed and kidnapped.
Later, the victim’s body was recovered from the drain located in Chitradurga’s western part of the city with physical injuries.
After that, the autopsy was conducted and as per forensic report, he was murdered. In this connection, actor Darshan Thoogudeepa was arrested.
