Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in 31 bilateral meetings and informal interactions with global leaders during his three-nation visit to Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana from November 16 to 21, which included participation in the 19th G20 Summit in Brazil.
According to an official statement, PM Modi conducted a bilateral meeting in Nigeria, 10 bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Brazil, and 9 bilateral meetings during his visit to Guyana.
In Nigeria, PM Modi held a bilateral meeting with Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In Brazil, the Prime Minister held bilateral meetings with leaders from Brazil, Indonesia, Portugal, Italy, Norway, France, the UK, Chile, Argentina, and Australia. Among these, five were first-time meetings: Prabowo Subianto, Indonesia President; Luis Montenegro, Portugal Prime Minister; Keir Starmer, UK Prime Minister; Gabriel Boric, Chile President; and Javier Milei, Argentina President, as stated in the official report.
Additionally, during his time in Brazil, PM Modi had informal interactions and pull-aside meetings with leaders from Singapore, South Korea, Egypt, the US, and Spain. He also met with heads and executives of major international organizations, including Ursula von der Leyen (European Union), Antonio Guterres (United Nations), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (World Trade Organization), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (World Health Organization), and Kristalina Georgieva and Gita Gopinath (International Monetary Fund).
In Guyana, the Prime Minister held bilateral meetings with leaders from Guyana, Dominica, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda, Grenada, and St. Lucia.
On Thursday night, PM Modi concluded this significant journey, which began with a visit to Nigeria, continued with the G20 Summit in Brazil, and concluded with a historic state visit to Guyana.

This three-nation tour underscored India’s growing global engagement, with crucial discussions in Nigeria, active participation in the G20 Summit in Brazil, and strengthened ties with the Caribbean during the historic visit to Guyana.
