Ranveer Singh, without wife Deepika Padukone, made a lively appearance at the Singham Again trailer launch, alongside the ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and director Rohit Shetty. Addressing the crowd, Ranveer explained Deepika’s absence, revealing, “Deepika is busy with the baby, so she couldn’t make it. My duty is at night, so I came.”

Deepika’s Pregnancy During Filming

Ranveer Singh also shared that Deepika was pregnant while filming Singham Again and introduced their daughter as “baby Simmba.” He added, “This is my baby’s debut. Wishing you all a Happy Diwali from Simmba, baby Simmba, and Lady Singham.”

The Singham Again trailer opens with Kareena Kapoor’s character, Avni Kamat, narrating to her son how Ram traveled 3,000 kilometers to rescue Sita. Her son doubts whether his father would do something so heroic, to which Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham responds, “Google Bajirao Singham, and you’ll find out who your father is.” The storyline revolves around Bajirao’s mission to rescue his wife, played by Kareena Kapoor, from Arjun Kapoor’s dangerous villain.

The trailer showcases an epic lineup, including Ranveer Singh’s Simmba, Akshay Kumar’s Veer Sooryavanshi, Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty, and Tiger Shroff. Sharing the trailer on social media, Ranveer wrote, “This Diwali will bring a mass storm! Singham Again on November 1st.”

The Singham franchise kicked off in 2011 with Ajay Devgn, Prakash Raj, and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles. The sequel, Singham Returns (2014), starred Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor. Ranveer Singh joined the cop universe with Simmba in 2018, and Akshay Kumar made his entry in Sooryavanshi (2021), both achieving box office success.
