Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh: Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, distributed ‘Akshat’ invitations to locals in Ayodhya, urging them to partake in the celebration of the consecration of the Ram temple on January 22. Rai emphasized the significance of the ‘Akshat’ distribution, calling on people to gather in their local temples and join the joyous occasion.

Addressing reporters, Rai explained, “Our workers are visiting every colony and temple in the country to distribute ‘Akshat,’ urging people to gather in their neighbourhood temples to take part in the celebration of the Ram temple inauguration. This program will continue till January 15.”

Highlighting the schedule for the consecration ceremony, Rai stated that the event is set for January 22 at 12:20 pm. After the consecration, an aarti will be performed, and prasad will be distributed to the attendees.

Preparations are in full swing for the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple, scheduled to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and dignitaries from various walks of life. The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has invited 4,000 saints of all sects for the momentous ceremony.

Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of Ram Lalla will commence on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. The main rituals will be performed by the priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit on January 22. Ayodhya will mark the Amrit Mahautsav from January 14 to January 22.

In anticipation of the significant gathering, arrangements are being made for a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya to feed thousands of devotees. Multiple tent cities are being erected to accommodate the expected influx of devotees, with arrangements for 10,000-15,000 people in place, according to the Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust.

Local authorities are working on enhanced security measures and logistical arrangements to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all attendees during the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
