Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth has filed a complaint after someone stole 60 sovereigns of gold and diamond jewellery from her locker. She said, some of her house servants were aware of the locker. The Teynampet Police Station in Chennai has taken due cognizance of her complaint and has registered a case under section 381 of the IPC.
As per a report the jewellery that has been stolen from her house was worth a whopping Rs. 3.60 lakh. The case was registered back in February, when the filmmaker was greeted by an empty locker on 10 Feb. A report further added that the filmmaker had amassed a collection of jewellery for the last 18 years.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aishwaryaa is ready to don the director’s cap again with her next project titled Lal Salaam. In the film, her father-megastar Rajinikanth, will appear in a cameo. She had launched a Pooja ceremony on 5 November. Sharing pictures from the event, the filmmaker wrote on her Twitter page, “When your FATHER trusts in you…When you believe GOD is by you. MIRACLES happen in true. After 7 long years. The journey begins again with grateful and joyful tears.” For the unversed, the film’s first look poster was released on the day the project was announced.
